What is Included in Firia Labs Professional Development?
Firia Labs offers comprehensive professional development options for teachers, available both in-person and virtually. These training sessions are designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach computer science and coding with Firia Labs physical computing devices. Participants will learn Python programming basics using the selected Firia Labs curriculum and device and will practice and apply effective pedagogical strategies for integrating CS project-based learning into their classes. The in-person sessions provide hands-on, interactive experiences with Firia Labs products, allowing teachers to engage directly with the tools and resources. Virtual options offer the same high-quality training through live, online sessions, making it accessible and convenient for teachers to participate from anywhere.
